Some of the benefits of garlic have remained unproven but it definitely can lower the blood pressure, lower the cholesterol and also acts as a natural antibiotic.

It is widely accepted by the people that garlic can lower the blood pressure. It has worked on most of the people who wanted to lower the blood pressure by natural means.

Along with blood pressure control garlic has been used as a medicine to lower the bad cholesterol (LDL). It is seen in the researches that garlic can lower LDL level. But it is also true that the influence of garlic on the LDL is very little.

Some people have allergy on garlic. And for the hemophiliacs garlic may not be good.
